Well, I'm back in the office after working at home for 2 1/2 weeks. The remodel isn't finished; the 2nd floor is still being redone. Right now it sounds like someone is sawing their way through the ceiling above me.
Had to take Max to the vet today. He had what looked like a gash next to the corner of his mouth, but it turned out to be some kind of ulcer with a very long name. The vet says it's most likely an allergic reaction to something, and gave him a steroid shot. Plus, it's infected, so he gets antibiotics. Poor thing.

Blogosaurus: I spotted your blog while searching for stuff about Bloomington. And then after reading a few posts, it sounds like we live in the same city! I've seen wild turkeys in Almaden, went to Alanis at Shoreline...could you be from San Jose, too? I graduated IU in 97, journalism.
Hiya.. actually, I live further north, in Belmont. I saw the wild turkeys in Walnut Creek. I graduated from IU in '97 too, (MS Computer Science). Are you from California originally?
Neat! I'm Linda, originally from Indiana. Arrived in San Jose for work in 2000, then fell in love and got married and then bought a house. Hence, we're "locals" now. I believe my friend Perng C. was a MS in CompSci at IU during the late nineties. Do you recognize the name? Anyhow, my hubby and I visited Bloomington recently during the summer and may post some of the pics up on my blog. Will keep you posted, if you're interested.
Hi, I really like your blog. Wow, I hope Max is ok. My dog Circuit is 8 years old and I'm afraid of the times he's going to have things like that. Knock on wood so far.
I produce a reality tv show called How To Behave and thought you might like to take a look. We're really home-grown, from San Francisco, but we're in our second season now. I'm working on trying to get the word out a little further and wider, to find new audiences, meet new people, and to get new ideas. Take a look at www.howtobehave.tv and let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Brett
