THE FIRST  POPnet Reunion has come and gone.  It was held on September 16th, 2000 at the Lafeyette Reservoir.  We had about 30 people, and we BBQd, played volleyball, and caught up on the news.

Special thanks to Jennifer (Lythande) for organizing all the food, and Jason (CopyCat) for reserving the Lafayette Reservoir, even though he couldn't make it.  Also, thanks to Frank and Judy (Her Maj and Da Cheef) for making it all the way down from Oregon.

Check out the photos page to see proof of the event.

UPDATE 6/29/07:  There is a POPnet community on tribe.net:  http://popnet.tribe.net/

You must register to see messages.

There are two mailing lists you can be on.

The popnet-annoucements list is one-way:  you will receive occasional emails when the website is updated, or any big events come up.

The popnet-list lets anyone send a message.  You can keep in touch with other POPnetters this way.

Both lists allow you to receieve them as every email comes in, OR as a daily summary email, OR no email at all, just viewable on the web at your convenience.

From the POPnet Welcome Letter:
POPnet, as you may have already discovered, is a multi-line game-playing computer system.  It was developed in order to bring people together via their home computers to enjoy light competition and conversation.
