HOW TO GET THERE
Take Highway 24, exit Acalanes/Mt. Diablo Blvd (24 east) or Acalanes/Upper Happy Rd (24 west). Turn left on Mt. Diablo Blvd and travel one mile. Park entrance road is on the right. Take road to top of dam where you have the choices of day use, metered parking, or exit without paying. There is a $5 fee per car.We are at the large reserved picnic area. Ask how to get there at the gate.
